Mitarte Mazuelo is an intense, different and spectacular wine made entirely from the Mazuelo variety from hundred-year-old vineyards in Haro, in the heart of Rioja. It is harvested by hand at the beginning of November and aged for 24 months in new French and American oak barrels at 50%, it is an ideal wine for Iberian hams and sausages, white and red meats, aperitifs and fish in sauce.

HARVEST
Harvest by hand in the first days of November
VINIFICATION
Cold maceration of the skins for 24 hours. Fermentation in wooden vats at 25°C for 7 days, the maceration is prolonged for 6 more days after fermentation
AGING
Aging for 24 months in new French oak barrels and American 50%
BOTTLING
Once bottled, it is aged for a minimum of 18 months more in a bottle rack with controlled temperature and humidity
