Espirbel de Mitarte is a balanced, persistent wine with a long fruity finish made from 95% Tempranillo and 5% Viura grapes from vineyards in the municipality of Labastida, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. The Mitarte Crianza is an intense and elegant wine made entirely with the Tempranillo variety from vineyards over 40 years old in Labastida, in the Rioja Alavesa. From manual harvesting during the second fortnight of October and aged for 12 months in new French 30% and American 70% oak barrels. It is an ideal wine for Iberian hams and sausages, meat, rice dishes and baked fish.
