It is characteristic for its very fine texture, unmistakable aroma, intense flavour and warmth on the palate. The shoulder comes from the front limbs of the Iberian pig.

Faula de Mitarte is an intense, warm and expressive wine, made entirely from Tempranillo grapes grown in centenary vineyards, in the municipality of Labastida, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, the favourite vineyard of the Gil Orive's grandfather. Harvested by hand, aged for 18 months in American oak barrels and aged for a minimum of 24 months in the bottle. It is an ideal wine for Iberian hams and sausages, red meats, hunting and roasts.

Espirbel de Mitarte is a balanced, persistent wine with a long fruity finish made from 95% Tempranillo and 5% Viura grapes from vineyards in the municipality of Labastida, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa.
